Corporations Amendment (Design and Distribution Obligations and Product Intervention Powers) Regulations
The Treasury invites comment on the exposure draft regulations to support the Treasury Laws Amendment (Design and Distribution Obligations and Product Intervention Powers) Bill. The Regulations support the Bill by applying the regime to a range of financial products not covered by the Bill and by ensuring that the regime operates as intended when applying to distributors of financial products. Submissions close Tuesday 13 November 2018.

Application to Permit the use of Steviol Glycosides in Fruit Drinks
Food Standards Australia New Zealand invites comment on an application to change the Food Standards Code. The proposed change is to permit the use of steviol glycosides in fruit drinks at a level of 200 mg/kg steviol equivalents. Submissions close Tuesday 6 November 2018.

Food and Grocery Code of Conduct Review

Assessment Outcomes of IMAP
The National Industrial Chemicals Notification and Assessment Scheme invites comment on the assessment outcomes of the Inventory Multi-tiered Assessment and Prioritisation (IMAP) framework. Remaking of the Telstra Corporation (Ownership – Interests in Shares) Regulations
The Department of Communications and the Arts invites comment on the proposal to remake the Telstra Corporation (Ownership – Interests in Shares) Regulations 1997, which are due to sunset in April 2019. The Regulations provide exemptions from the foreign ownership provisions under the Telstra Corporation Act 1991. Submissions close Tuesday 6 November 2018.

Remaking of the Telecommunications (Arbitrations) Regulations
The Department of Communications and the Arts invites comment on the proposal to remake the Telecommunication (Arbitration) Regulations 1997, which are due to sunset in April 2019. The Regulations provide rules and procedures for arbitration of disputes by the Australian Consumer and Competition Commission (ACCC) about access to certain services under the Telecommunications Act 1997.
