Two reports profiling the Australian Startup sector have recently been released. The annual Startup Muster survey and report profiles Australia’s startup ecosystem. This report is complimented by the StartupAUS Crossroads 2017 report, which provides an analysis of the current ecosystem and predictions for the future of the sector.

The Startup Muster 2017 survey captured responses from 5 July to 14 August 2017 via an online survey portal. They also conducted a national tour, visiting 13 cities around Australia, meeting with local startup communities, private industry and government.

The survey report provides a statistical overview of the experience of Australian startup founders, covering what worked, what didn’t, skill levels, how and why.
