For 35 years Norco PRIMEX, The Great Australian Primary Industries Expo, has showcased local product to thousands of visitors who come through the gates across the three days of the event at Casino, northern NSW.

Now PRIMEX offers a whole new level of exhibition for local producers.

The recently introduced Paddock to Plate concept will be one of the main attractions at the 2019 Norco PRIMEX.

Norco PRIMEX director, Bruce Wright, said Paddock to Plate had proved to be ‘a major success’ with visitors and exhibitors.

“The NSW North Coast is an outstanding place to visit and is one of country’s most diverse food bowls, with its wonderfully productive fertile volcanic soils surrounding Mt Warning and its abundance of world class produce of fruit, vegetables, meats, beers, wines and spirits, milk and gourmet products including cheeses, olives, jams, relishes and so much more,” said Mr Wright.

World class produce and cooking demonstrations

Paddock to Plate at Primex 2019The Paddock to Plate Pavillion will allow visitors to see how farmers and food makers produce these culinary delights. The world class produce will feature in cooking demonstrations by leading chefs.  The focus is on taste with the best the Northern Rivers has to offer. Visitors will be able to sample dishes and purchase products.

Mr Wright said Paddock to Plate in 2019 would be more comprehensive than ever.

“There is so much product in this region and such a range, but what is most exciting about the Paddock to Plate Pavillion is the exciting activity. It really is Food Heaven,” he said.
