The best in sustainable living is on show again at this year’s Tweed Living for the Future Home Expo, incorporating Sustainable House Day. The Expo is being held at Seagulls Club, Tweed Heads West on Saturday 16 September 2017.

The event includes workshops and demonstrations on all things sustainable including:

  • Love Food Hate Waste
  • Electric bikes
  • Building with local materials, including hemp and bamboo workshops
  • Off grid living
  • Energy efficient design
  • Growing organic food in your back yard, and more

The winners of the 2017 Sustainable House Design Competition and awards will also be announced.

A free bus service will operate from Byron Bay to Seagulls Club, departing from 8:45 in Bangalow and picking up at The Canvanbah Centre in Byron Bay and Uncle Toms in Mullumbimby. Return trip departs at 3:30pm.
