The ABC’s Trailblazers program provides a platform for individuals and groups of up to three working on projects to make regional Australia a better place.
Winners receive media support, networking and mentorship opportunities and an all-expenses-paid trip to Canberra.
The Trailblazers program is for inspiring young people aged 18-to-28 who are dedicated to making regional Australia even better. Whether you’re a community leader, social entrepreneur, advocate, or event organiser, you are encouraged to apply to have your community projects come to life.
Trailblazers 2024
A comic writer, an Indigenous artist and an app developer are just some of the inspiring young Australians who have won this year’s Heywire Trailblazer competition.
Thirteen Trailblazer winners have been named – all of whom are aged 18–28 and are doing incredible things in their regional hometowns.
While these individuals are all unique, they’re brought together by their drive to make change from their personal adversity.
You can learn more about the ABC Trailblazers projects on the ABC website.
